Just wondering if MOTM is still an active part of Reef Frontiers, since we haven't had one since June. Is it something that's been done away with?

Yep, I''ve been MOTM before, though it's been about a year and a half.
LOL Actually, it's not me stroking my ego. Angie mentioned to me that there hasn't been a MOTM since June. Since she's too chicken to ask why, I figured I would....lol.

August 2009 I remember this one because I was at Thangs house and met her and her husband.
September 2009 I remember this one because someone PM'd about how someone with nothing but rock in his tank and at the time a very low post count, got MOTM and so many others have so much to give and did not get picked.
I do not know the requirements for MOTM so who knows how anyone is really picked. I know for sure I will never be picked based on the past and the current PM's I have gotten from moderators.
It ok I am not here for ego boost I am here to learn, meet people, and give back what I can.
Now Chuck don't shoot the messenger on this one just, just trying to offer feedback of what I have heard and seen.

No shooting the messenger. Every member I am sure doesn't like every other member. That is life. And MOTM has nothing to do with having a great tank, or it would be TOTM. It is all about being a good contributor to this community.
By the way, I currently have a 6 gallon tank with a rock and 2 fish in it. Nothing wrong with that.

It's not called TOTM (Tank of the Month), it's Member of the month. I could see how a member, who doesn't even have a tank, could feasibly win. It's more about how a member contributes, than it is about how nice of a tank someone has. LOL Ahhh I'd tried to sidestep that post. Ya know what's strange, I'd read the other MOTM write ups and such. Then Angie mentioned something about nothing since June, I clicked on the above mentioned MOTM link, saw nothing since June...and started this thread....without even thinking.
