I pulled a bunch of chateo out of my refuge and put it in a zip lock bag and of course saw all the critters swiming around . Then noticed what I thought at first was mini brittle stars then realized they were swinng with there legs kinda like a squid or octopus would. Are these good ,bad, or what I don't know what they are.

Your right, too many legs. almost looks like aiptasia. I believe there are swimming aiptasia.

They are in my sump in the rubble and chateo......alot of them. I started to see some in the display so I got a few peppermints and they took care of it. I was going to get some of those awsome bergia but I wanted some shrimp anyways. I dont know what to do about the ones in the sump, shrimp or bergie would end up in the pump or skimmer.

Shrimp wont get into the pump. Just throw a couple shrimp in the sump and turn the rock over every couple days so they can get to the ones in between rocks.

Go with the Peppermint Shrimp, Berghia will not eat them. They are not true Aiptasia so if you have shrimp that will eat them GREAT! A friend of mine up here ended up leaving the hobby because of these pests that were introduced through a LFS and had compltely overran his 180g killing many many $'s in high-end corals. Good luck and be very careful not to spread them any further.

Cheers, Todd
