So I am trying to find a safe place to hang the DC8 for my aquacontroller and am finding that everywhere that I would like to put it where it would be safe from accidental splashing or other water mishaps is too far away for the cords on my heaters. For the heaters to reach, the DC8 would need to be rather close to my sump. I am thinking extension cords would not be a good idea.

Has anybody else run into this dilemma and what have you done?

The orange external grade extention cords work great. I used one with a triple plug end. Check the amp/watt rating to ensure you don't exceed it. Be sure whatever you do that each has a drip loop.
