Hello from central Oregon

My name is Connie and I have had a saltwater tank for about a year and have made some mistakes and lost a few fish. I have a 40 gallon tank and 40 lbs. of LR and one fish, a yellow tang who has been through everything, heater shortage which fried all my fish but him and an ammonia spike after live rock added which I was not aware of, and through my brother in laws coxing I am here.
