Joined the community as I'm beginning to look at a FOWLR conversion of my existing freshwater tank.

Trying to discuss with the fiance as she's fond of our existing freshwater fish and I think the compromise might be a bio cube...

Welcome to Reef Frontiers.
There are a lot of helpful people here. A lot of good information here too. Check out the "Specialty Forums". Ask any thing you need to. Some one here will have info for you.
We look forward to following along with your new tank build.

Thanks, I think I'm going with a 90 gallon, but I'm looking for some help in trying to determine whether I should drill out the back or install an internal overflow.

Jinoue, My first choice will be to drill, then second is internal overflow. Drilling looks a lot cleaner.

Btw, welcome to RF....

Thanks, I know a few guys who are big drilled or internal overflow guys so I'm seeking out other opinions. I think that drilled not only looks cleaner, but is much easier to DIY on an acrylic tank.
