Ok I was getting shocked when I was cleaning my tank so I Unpluged things tell I relized it was my pump. What can I do? Can I silicone the back of the pump where the wire comes out? Any Ideas? Please HELP!! Its a mag 12 it sits in my sump.

pump i would replace it

i would replace it. You could epoxy the cord but that not a 100% sure fix. You could get electrocuted if it leaks again. I'm sure someone out there has a good used pump for cheap if you can't afford new good luck

Throw it out! Or use it as an external pump if you really have to keep it. We can all agree its an expensive hobby but electricity and saltwater are a dangerous combination to begin with. Then when you add patched cords etc..........BAD things WILL happen.

Problem Is you may fix that one spot but usually when the epoxy sealed motor starts cracking, it has served it's usefulness.
I agree, get a new pump! :(
