In one of my reef tanks these worm like things are steadily growing all over. They are mostly in the sand, but I have now noticed them in the refuge and on some rocks. They look like some type of tentacle from something below the sand?


Thes look like thread, they are orange/yellow with black stripes. They seem to be no harm, but I have searcheed for a while and want to find out what they are.

Yep, spaghetti worms. I had a LFS pull some out of their systems for me. Great for keeping the sand bed stirred and cleaned. I think ISPF calls them mama mia worms.
