I recently added a large frogspawn like coral to my tank... it is not the typical frogspwan as the heads as smaller and more of a lime green vs. green. I noticed that the rock next to it started to bleach (it was full of zoas). today, i just noticed that some of the branches on my purple Stylophora Coral are bleaching as well :( any idea what causes this? The Stylophora Coral is about a foot away from the frogspawn (if the frogspawn the culpirt). Any suggestions?

when i had my frogspawn i was told to put it all the way at an end away from everything else since it likes to do chemical warfare. I would try to move it away from your other corals.

I had to give away my frogspawn as it was bleaching the coraline on the rock and making my mushrooms detach, and in my tank there wasn't anywhere else to move it. I also have a hammer coral, which doesn't seem to bother anything. Once the frogspawn was gone the mushrooms were happier the very next day.

Thank you all! Are there differences between frogspawns? the one that caused this is not your regular frogspawn.. smaller and lime color.
