Help with Coralife Digital Power Ctr

Hello all!

First time posting tho I've been lurking for a while.

I just picked up the Coralife Digital Power Center. I am a bit confused. I wanted to have my actinics come on for 30 minutes before my MH came on. Not finding much help on the web, but it seems that you must run the "daylight cycle" all at once? I would have liked to have them run for a bit after the MH turns off too before auto switching to the moon lights. Did I buy the wrong unit to do this?

yes you need another timmer for that!!
I run light 4 timmers on my tank..
one for MH
one for actinics
one for kalk stirrer
and one for Fans.

Coralife makes a Dual unit, its not digital, its got two manual switch wheels. I have both and I prefer the manual one. Once set the only thing I need to adjust is the current time if the power goes out. The digital one has a battery to hold the program but I have had difficulty with it resuming the program after a power outage. The manual one just works.

I would invest in a rkl by the time your done spending 40 a pop on those you would of paid for a rkl. easy to maintain and set up.

I would run your days and moon lights on the power center. Then your actinics on a separate timer

Thanks for the responses! I've returned that power center and bought 3 individual timers at Home Depot.
