I bought a beautiful 11 head show size torch coral on the internet it was bright neon green at home is a healthy pale beige light tan lps coral, of course it must be my lights what are creating such a dull color, Here is the question I have seen in green torch corals that not all light seems to work as far as bringing its full radiant green color. For example under actinic only my platigyra, candy cane, and frogspawn glow, but my torch gets just slightly better. However in some stores same green torch glow bright neon green, I am willing to change my metal halide lamp, but only if the torch will be bright green. any suggestions on which 250 HQI lamp should I buy ? I am considering 14,500K Megachrome Coral HQI Double-Ended Metal Halide Bulb its expensive over $ 100.00 but I heard the its a balance bulb, I am not a fan of the blue tint of 20,000 K lamps. I wonder if actinic which are close to 430-nanometer wavelength does not make it look green perhaps too much blue nor my current 10 k plus actinic does any better what should I try?
Thanks for any input.

Well I'm not 100% but it may be the coral it self. I have a couple different torch corals and one is a brilliant neon green with pink tips and the other is more fleshy colored with beige colored tips. Both are under my 250's 20k m/h lights.
