TIA! I originaly posted here the below problem but it was moved to the fish forum. Mods please do not move as this is an invert problem.

my scarlet cleaner shrimp (2) have what looks exactly like marine ich and have had this for some months. My biggest concern is the tank has been fishless for two months due to marine ich and I am wondering is it possible that shrimp can actually be a carrier. which leads me to another question if my fish never had marine ich ( looks and acts exactly like ich) and instead they had what the shrimp have...which kills fish, just apparently not shrimp, then what could it be?

sorry don't have a camera or skills good enough to provide pics. cant' find any other info on white spot on shrimp. jsut black spots.

PLEASE, I only say it looks like ich to be describe what it looks like, not what I think it is or not.

it has been like 5 months since I really noticed this and it does seem at time there are more spots than before. like 50 to 80 each shrimp.

does anyone have a parasite in mind for me to research or have any clue what this may be.

my tank is prob up there with the most pristine water because it is fishless at this time and my sps are growing like weeds and, all fish being in qt for ich and has been pretty much fishless for 8 months due to my bad luck with ich ( have let tank go fallow 3 months, qt and treated all new fish 2 months, added qt's fish to tank and they iched up in 3 weeks!) have currently hypo'd all fish and have be in qt for 4 weeks after treatment) tank has been fallow for 3 months again. and I'm afraid to add fish again in a few weeks beacuse of previous bad experience and wanting to figure this out once and for all! please help a guy get some fish in his system before the one YEAR mark comming soon!

what are on my shrimp, that may have affected the fish...or not.

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!
