Greetings!
I have just taken my first steps into the Reef world. I bought an existing setup from someone who is leaving the hobby, and I think I got a great deal with more equipment that I know what to do with. I can't wait to get started. I'll be picking it up this Friday or Saturday. Look for posts real soon with some noob questions!
I have been in the hobby on the freshwater side for over 20 years now, so I do have some idea of the impact that is about to hit my wallet. I currently have four freshwater tanks running - three of them (33L, 15, and a Fluval Ebi Cube) with Crystal Red Shrimp and Crystal Black Shrimp. I also have a 90 gallon setup that I am going to take down and replace with the 75 gallon reef.
I look forward to meeting new folks, learning a lot, and soaking up the experience!
