Been neglecting my tank hard core the move buying a house ) ( raising a kid) but its still going it didn't crash .....

This is where I stand
One fish went carpet serfing
( this was the start)

Lights bulbs are one year over due . Claim died
Plate corals bleached ( weird though cause all the rest is doing real good)

Wife gave me the ok to buy new lights

I'm going with two d120 led fixtures from ever grow ill post up some pics in a week or so after I get them hung and the tank cleaned , also I needed a full rodi rebuild

So with the new filters , new lights , and some tlc should be ok

It sucks I let it happen , my reef has taken a beating there was a few month period where I did nothing at all I was departing givin the tank up but back in it

Good to see you stuck with it! This hobby can get very discouraging at times and then there is always "real life" that gets in the way. I'm still tankless! One day I'll have a tank again

Yea krish, remember I was talking about it a while back? It was you that have me good advice .. Wish I wouldn't have let that clam go... It was at least 7 years old it was 5-6x bigger then when I got it... And my Lil evil nemo but other then that I think 90% of the problem was the rodi needing complete overhaul well see... I order the lights before I left for work but screwed up the transaction, so I've canceled it and ill reduce it tommarrow

So any corals still alive are super corals now and will take off when you get things back on track.

The softies the lps and some of the sps I did loose this one acro that I had nursed back to life like ten times .... Kept falling refragging, falling reglueing it had just started to take off Again, guess a few weeks went by I hadn't noticed it fell.... I think it's a goner this time

yea water changes dont help If your Filters are smoked... and your lights are old..

This was more a $$$$ issues then water change
she'll hold together... New lights are ordered.. and the new filters are doing there job

Well, thats not so bad. Of course I didnt see it before, so it may be worse than it used to be, but it doesnt look that bad.
You should see one of my tanks right now. It need a lot of work.

it looks like it can be nursed back to health, your corals dont look so bad, but i know all about the death and devastation in an aquarium so just work on it and good lukc, welcome back

yea its already coming back... things are looking better from a week or 2 ago
