Just remember coral will grow and you want to make sure you have room for it to grow. Most of it is easy to trim back and keep smaller. So research the different coral. Some SPS may send out long branches and those you would probalby not want in the tank. But there are some sps that grow pretty compact and would work and look great. Soft corals like leathers are pretty easy to trim, but will get very big. Toadstools for instance. A small one will grow to completely fill your tank in a matter of a couple years. Branching LPS like frogspawn and hammers and candycanes are easy to cut back too. But yes, you can have as many as you can stuff into the tank. Research them well, because coral will fight and kill each other too. So you will know what you can put next to each other.

Completely agree with Lorrie on this. Corals fight each other for space and use sweeper arms to chemical warfare on each other. Then some will just over grow others, like xenia's.
