Well i was told about reef frontiers from a fellow I met on craigslist from an ad for live rock for 2 bucks a pound . So i went down to get some from him and I was very impressed with what he had going on with his hobby . It got me excited again about this hobby .I have been keeping saltwater for about ayear now and have had alot of problems. you know fish ddying algee all the not so fun stuff. It ha sbeen mor discouraging to my girlfriend than to myself because I kinda know why I have have been having problems. But fortunatly by going down with me to see what the gentlman that i got the live rock from had going on she saw how beautifull a tank can be if it is done properly and since then she has been alot moe supportive about my hobby, and most importantly allowing me to spend a little money on stuff i need. so things are going well ive build a sump.and am now working on getting my light addiquit to support corrals and stop killing annenamis due to poor light condithions . so anyway I am happy that I was introduced to this site for all the information that is available to me now I think it will make everything easyer and more enjoyable thanks for having me , Later Oh yea soryy for my spelling and punctuation more lazy than stupid just dont want to wait for i spell to download

Welcome Joe! :welcome: Glad you decided to join up!! The hobby can be a bit discouraging sometimes especially when you don't have anyone to help you along the way. I was in the same boat when I joined up and these guys taught me a lot! Still learning of course, but a lot more knowledge and experience than I once had. You will find RF very fun, informative and supportive. Any questions you have as simple as it may seem to you, please don't hesitate to ask. That's what we are here for. :)

Welcome Joe!

You'll be able to find several answers in prior posts, if you're having troubles finding one, just ask the question and we'll gladly get an answer for you!

Hi Joe, Welcome to RF!
I don't get called a gentleman very often, so thanks for that :) I'm glad you found your way here, lots of helpful folks.
You should take her to one of the get togethers of North sound Reefers, that way she can see a really nice tank ;-)
If you need anything give me a shout.
