We are seeking ID of the white fella in the following pictures...we think it's a harmless white sponge that looks like the head of a q-tip with a hole in the middle and a tiny protruding fan that comes from the hole. We try to keep a good eye on things and a lookout for anything that might be harmful. These ones either escaped our watchful eyes...or multiple like rabbits. The closest things we could find were the "Leucilla ciliata".

Thanks in advance for the expert advice...oh yea and are the bad or good??

Completely harmless Scypha or Leucilla sponge. The filter particulates and utilize available Silicon which reduces the possibility of diatoms.

I agree with Curt! I had the same question a while back and that's exactly what they were. Very cool to have:)
