hitchhiker??

so i just added a bunch of new live rock and found a little hitchhiker, im pretty sure it is a anenome but i described it to a friend and thinks it may be a aptashia, its only about the size of a dime when opened but is a really nice emerald green body with bright pink tips. so what do i have??

perhaps a majano anemonia. try and google for a pic.

Aiptasia and Majano are both anemones....but PEST anemones. There's a great thread right here on RF for identifying hitch hikers, both good and bad...here's the link.

well im pretty sure its a majano type, so will joes juice kill it?? what other methods work well

I've heard of people injecting them with boiling water as well. Good luck with it and be sure to look closely for more because if there is one, chances are they will be others (or atleast quite possibly there would be others)
