I want to build a acrylic overflow but I can't find any weld on localy. Is there any other kind of sealant that I can use

As far as I know, you're going to need Weld On. Have you looked at a local Home Depot or Lowes? I'd think either of those would have it. Otherwise, try a local glass shop. Some of them do acrylic work and would have it available.

Weld-on is the most popular but there is also Plex-weld and MC Bond. You most likely will not find them in any local home stores. If you do not have a plastic distributor in your area go to www.tapplastics.com they are a pretty good supplier and sell on-line.

ahh... whats wrong with super glue gel?? it doesn't even look like a seem if your not messy. dries clear. it's what i used.

where are you in nc? i have a spare overflow box that im not using if you want it... im in charlotte but travel to the raleigh durham area frequently
