I have that on my 75g and it works great! Mine has Cheato, Mangrove and lr rumble but I've heard that sand works better.

Wow, and it has a protein skimmer? That thing is bad@##! Might have to get one for our 29 biocube!

what are the dims on it ? it has to clear the 9 inch center section of the cube. i already have a skimmer in that section.

Id prefer the flow to go the other direction as well but it wouldnt make a huge difference. The overflow on the biocube is on the right side.

nm the dims are 14" Wide x 4" Deep x 13.5" Tall. The price is right but it blocks the center sump section which is a deal breaker for me since i already stuck a skimmer in there and dont want to have to take the fuge off everytime i clean it.

The aquafuge medium is a full 5 inches longer (19inches) 1/2 inch wider (4.5)

just ditch the lame internal skimmer in the biocube...
this skimmer/fuge will be powered by a maxijet which you will have modded with mesh, and modded a venturi for, so it will have much more power than whatever skimmer you have in your biocube.
I have thread in the DIY section on how to mod a maxijet for this.
or buy this skimmer for $80 if your not the modding type, and put the maxijet on your skimmer/fuge instead. with both internal skimmer and fuge, you still have spent less than the CPR name brand fuge without a skimmer.

I'm running a medium CPR Aquafuge (w/o the skimmer) on my BC29. I got it off of ebay for around $100 with the light.

I'm running an inch or two of live sand and a large ball of chaeto.

Hey Mark, sorry if this is a lame question, but are you intending this thing to go IN the biocube sump area, or to hang off the back with the tubes & whatnot in the sump section?
