Holy crap!! Saw this article in advanced aquarist this morning and realized, GAH! I need to get that extra fish outta my tank with my dwarf angler, haha, cuz, he can EAT HIM!! Has anyone had their frogfish eat anything this large? I've heard many stories on "apparent choking", but seeing how a healthy fish can eat just about anything that'll fit in his mouth, I question the idea :doubt:

Watch a video of a frogfish devouring a fish as big if not bigger than itself. My jaw dropped when I saw how big of a fish this predator could fit into its mouth and stomach.

OMGosh, he wont need to eat again for another month.
I've always assumed you would need a dedicated tank for them.
Can you have more than one frogfish per tank I wonder?

hmmmm thats a good question - See a lot of people sell them as pairs - maybe they are friendly? Or maybe only friendly until one can fit in the others' mouth hahaha!!

I feed mine chunks of (thawed) frozen food from a net -
