Hi guys have just set up a new 55 gal tank and have a few questions. Firstly i need to know how much to feed my fish i have 2 clowns and 1 damsel and am feeding frozen food in cube form brine shrimp i think but am not sure how much i should be putting in help please!!!!
Also my sand has gone from a white colour to a brown and the same brown colour is on some of my live rock is this normal thanks.

If you are feeding one of those 1/2" cubes, thats much too much for three fish. About a quarter of a cube should be about right. A fishes stomach is about as large as their eye and you don't have to fill it up at each feeding.

As to the brown stuff that is an algae. What are your water parameters? How old is your tank? How much rock? Sump? Ect.

water parameters are fine tank is 1 week old have a 1500lt an hour canester filter 5 kilos of live rock, 25 kilos ocean rock,20lbs of live sand red sea protein skimmer, power heads ect

If the tank is a week old you may want to feed even less. Watch the water clarity carefully. If it starts to become cloudy, don't feed for a day and feed less in the future. A 2 week old tank can not process much waste at all.
Good luck.
Paul
