how old does a chromis have to be before it's considered ancient?

over the past 7 years, we've had about a dozen different fish in our tank. we currently have 5 fish - 4 of them are the very first fish in the tank including a blue-green chromis. we originally bought 7, a few died early on then 3 of them lived on for a couple years. But one chromis is still swimming & we've had him for 6 years. is he ancient or do they normally live this long? our youngest fish is the mimic tang at 5 years old.

I've read that the life span of a blue/green chromis is about 15 years.

how big is your six year old chromis? arent chromis able to get pretty decent sized?
