How to create a Breeding Journal

To create your Breeding Journal you need to follow the guidelines below:
1) The thread subject should be "Breeding Journal, Species: [Species]" where [Species] is the SCIENTIFIC NAME of the species in the journal.
2) Copy the following code and paste it into the first post of your thread. This information should be kept up to date as possible
3) This first summary post should ONLY contain the information below. Any pictures or other information should be put in additional posts not in the summary post.

So here's a few screen shots to help you along the way setting this thing up.


Before you start your thread, you will want to go to the first post in this thread and highlight the php code Mike has there in the box (all of it), right click and copy it all

Now you are ready to create your journal so go to the main Breeding forum page and click on new thread tab

Fill in the thread title with "Breeding Journal (then name of fish here - common name not scientific)" I put, "Breeding Journal of Clownfish" for those that can't see it clearly

Next you want to go to your reply section of your Breeding Journal thread, right click your mouse and select paste to paste the php code you copied in step one there.

As you can see, the journal is layed out for you with all the fields to fill in. Now start filling in the fields. I did the first section for you to show you what we mean. Where it says species there, this is where you would insert the scientific name of your species of fish.







Now all left to do once you've filled out all of the fields is submit your thread. Your thread will now show up like this
