How to feed?

How do I feed a plate? Do I put the food near its mouth or tentacles? Its a short tentacle btw...

You can put it anywhere on the plate and it will pull it to its mouth.

As long as you don't have a greedy fish that steels the food. When i feed mine I have to lean my net near it until it takes it in.

LOL!!! Thats what I had to do just a sec ago! It takes the plate forever to eat! Unfortunately tang got the food! Maybe I can put a little dome of tupaware over it?

those little baskets that strawberries come in do the trick real well.
