I thought I would share a couple pictures of one of my huge pieces of live rock. it is over 30'' long and over 31'' in girth/circumfrence. and weighs almost 100lbs!
this rock is also supposed to be hawaiian (so i was told when I bought it) and has been in aquaria for almost 30 years now! I have about 250lbs total...

Feel free to post pictures of your huge rocks!!!

dont laugh at my face, it was getting heavy~!!!

that is big but i have collected bigger i think its funny that u think its heavy imagine having to pull that up out oif the water on to a boat in a bag with 3 other pieces the same size..

Boy! My biggest is half that size at 45 pounds. It stresses me out every time I move it in the tank for fear of breaking glass. I dont think I'd enjoy wrestling with that thing at all!

This is in a 35 gallon rubber maid and the heater is 18" long for reference. As a newb, I had to have this piece because it reminded me of some sort psycadelic mushroom or mystical castle (cheesy, I know) I paid way too much for it. You hardly see it when its covered in coral.

Matt that piece of rock is a dream for people with larger tanks. I wish I had it. Awesome Piece!

Matt, sure looks like a LOT of not fun fragging work. Sorry to see you have to break it down but guess thats the only cure:cry:

Mike you arent kidding! it took 3 hrs to break it down and i went through 100 frag plugs all yesterday.
I am just glad to have it done, now I need a buyer for the cube asap so I can get it out of my house...

Matt
