I will expand on that after I get done sweating and get the sump back in again

Well ok now i am pumping water back into the sump. Today was already a all day reef event. I was doing a 30ish gallon water change, and I really wanted to clean out he sump since it was nasty. So I thought well it would be good idea to just pull it out and scrub and hose it out, so I did that, took a few hours but all in all I had a squeeky clean sump, and I was really pretty happy. I hadn't hooked up my cal, kalk, and phos reactors yet, and I needed a little break so I got the skimmer running and I went to the gym. The mistake I made was I screwed up when i got the skimmer running, and i didn't do it quite right, so as I was gone part of the output came loose and started splashing water all over the place, up and over the side of the sump! So in the bottom of the stand there was 1" of water and it has splashed all over the carpet about 2' away from the tank. I was just like F@#$. So I just grabbed the brute that was still in the kitchen and emptied the sump again, sopped up all the water, pulled out the sump again, dried it up and let it air out for a while. So while it was airing out the durso was slowly letting my overflow drain down, and made another puddle in the stand!!! Anyway its filling back up now, and Im am beat, and I am a dumbass

ya almost, one of the Iwaki's you sold me was getting water splashed all over it!

Luckily I bought 2 so I have a spare if it is screwed, but it seems to be fine as of now. I am officially back to where I was at noon, I have a huge mess to clean up, and I have to cook dinner! sheesh

All done and now I am cookin! I think that my iwaki may be toast, we will see.
