I have never been to the northwest coast

Sent off for inifo for a trip on the Wild Side. The boat is the Maple Leaf. A wooden schooner that sails many places. The thing I am most interested in is SAILING, BURYING THE RAIL! This boat sails out of Coal Harbour. B.C. I want to sail the west coast of Vancouver Island.....sail being the operative word. My husband gets seasick everyonce in a while but loves to shoot photos. Ya'll think we could go and enjoy? I will have to save for a year or so. Would love to hear what you natives up there think.

I prefer the Gulf and San Juan Islands on the inside passage. Sailing isn't as good, but motor cruising around discovering dozens of small islands is a blast plus the diving is good for those into that.
