I know nothing.

Two are red with tan edges. They seem to be doing ok but I don't know if they are suppose to attach to my lr or what? And then I have a lighter colored monti cap very curly frag I put in high flow but there are some lighter spots showing up on it. What do you think this means?

Hello,
They will attach over time but can be knocked loose by other animals in the tank. Attaching them with a gel type superglue works very well. Marine epoxy is another method that can be used to attach corals to your live rock.

Hard to say without a picture. SPS corals usually change color in response to changes in light intensity and/or spectrum. As a general rule they lighten under higher light and darken under lower light.

Hummm...very interesting. I will get some gel epoxy. I have been waiting to see if the frags liked where they were placed.

The very light colored one that is very curly seems to be 'finiky" It was taken from the bottom of a colony and was receiving very little light. I am just going to leave it I guess.

Thanks for the info kevinpo. Will keep you posted on these montis
