Ice cap 660??

I have two 4' t-5s on my ice cap 660.
Could a guy run two more 24" t-5s on the same ice cap??
The different sizes of bulbs and wattage makes me wonder if it would work??
I would like to run two t-5s over my 29 gallon on the same ballast??

Exactly, You'd either burn out the bulbs or the ballast in short order. IMO.

Then again, Ive ran 32 watt with 40 watt T-12s on the same ballast in my garage fixtures

I sure wouldnt. My garage shop lights are much cheaper than an icecap ballasts.

According to Icecap. . . "One ballast can operate any combination, up to 4 lamps, with a total not exceeding 440 Watts." So if your total watts does not exceed 440, I don't see where you would have a problem. Good luck.

well I have two T-5's at 54 watts, and want to add two 24" HO t-5's on the 29..

Then according to IceCap you should have no problems. No sense in buying another for your 29 when the one you have will work, huh?
