ID Needed on Wrasse...*PICS*

Purchased this wrasse from LFS.

Wholesaler sold to LFS as Assorted Mystery Wrasse when they ordered.

Any Additional Info? I Checked out several Online suppliers to no avail.

hmmm..its a mysteri to me...lol..j/k I looked around a bit but couldnt find anything that resembled it. Maybe its a juvinile and hasnt got its colors yet?

I'm not real familiar with different Wrasses but it actually looks like a Basselet to me.

I agree with tomz, a LFS we used to have here in Houston, the owner was a wrasse freak. He was a friend of mine and had his own maintenance business wheich he then turned and opened his own store. I have actually seen these wrasses before and I believe that was the species name that Tom posted. This may be a juvie of the pink belly spp. and should get color with age. Nice wrasse!!

Definately either the Halichoeres margaritaceus or Halichoeres nebulosus. Both are very similar in the juvi stage and hard to distiguish apart according to most research. I'm leaning towards the first!
