ID on a couple of things

First is this ball thing. I'm thinking it's a sponge of some sort cause it's got holes all over, but I'm not sure when or where it came from. I was blowing some sand off some yellow button polyps and this was under some of the sand.

The other thing are these tube like things that almost look like they have spider webs coming out of them.

Sorry for the photos, my new camera was charging so I used the old 2 MP camera. :lol:

I just learned about the tube like things, I forget the proper name but they are some sort of snail. The "web stuff is thier was of fishing for food. I have them all over my LR. My LFS said they are common and not a problem. I'm curious about the ball thing though. I had one in the tub where I was curing some LR.

Thanks Seadogs for the info on the tube things. Anyone else have an idea on what the pink ball thing might be. Looking closer at it last night, it seems that it has tiny hairs all over it. At least it appears to. It looks fuzzy I guess.

The sponge like thing is a tunicate. Filter feeder and not a bad thing.
The web is from a vermetid snail
