ID please

As I was looking at the tank last night I notice this guy. So I snatched it out of the tank to hopefully get an ID. The pics are kind of bad because our camera sucks. I will try to describe it. It is slug like, has antennas, dark brown to black and has like a flat half shell on it's back. I moves pretty quick and I only have seen it at night. Is this slug, good or bad? Either way it's not going back in the tank because it is creepy. Thanks for your help

From the discription, I would also guess its a Stomatella. Unfortunately, the pictures aren't crisp enough to tell, but the link Cwby has given you should do the trick!

looks a lot like that but much darker. Are they just another type of snail? Are the good or bad? I will try to get some better pics. I will sell this one half price

they are a good thing, I have quite a few and seem to reproduce well.....though I haven't seen them sold....

I have quite a few beautifully colored in my Nano also, and if I get a lil hair algea...chomp chomp..it"s gone!
