I got this yesterday and like always i forgot the name any help would great..

Looks like a Flower Pot (Goniopora) to me.

kinda looks like my toadstool leather to me... but i really dont know,

just kinda looks like mine but diffrent color.. maybe cause of light?

i actually thought that at first, but i was thinking of the green polyp toadstool...still not sure....does it have a stalk????

Yes, a green polyped sarchophyton. A very desireable little guy . People in Seattle had to mail order a bunch of these because nobody was selling any locally!

do the polyps come out of a hard ball kind of shaped base?? this looks to me like a goniopora. Do the polyps retract into the hard base??? These polyps look much too big to be leather.

Here is mine (the picture is not very good, the polyps are slightly more green, but not as green as above)

Looks similar? I would vote for green polyped toadstool leather.

98 Percent Positive Its A Goniopora, The Polyps And Stalks Are Just Too Big And Thick To Be A Sarcophyton!!

mine retract sometimes when the reef is spooked.....

it gets completly bald

If this is a toadstool, they can get large (fast). Mine was 10" across before fragging it.
