i currently have a fish only tank but hav been offered these but are unsure what they are and what care they would need (can only post 5 pictures at once will post some more in another post):confused:
 
cool animals(anemones) pic #'s 1 and 3 and soft coral and zoeanthids. I am newish at this hobby so really just guessing. I am sure others will chime in. Enjoyed the pictures and welcome to Reef Frontiers.

What are your water parameters and what kind of lighting are you using. The anemones will require more intense lighting, while the leathers, star polyps and zoos can tolerate less intense lighting.

Post some information about your tank and people here will be more than happy to let you know if you have adequate housings for these.

By adding a buffer, use a two part system. Available at any LFS or online.

Jamie is right about the lighting, the anemones not only require better lighting, they will really color up and look great under it.
 
Alkalinity, often referred to as "carbonate hardness," or German carbonate hardness, is the measure of carbonate and bicarbonate concentrations in your aquarium water. Alkalinity is a measure of the ability of a solution to neutralize acid without changing the pH. It both controls and maintains water pH. Carbonate hardness is measured in degrees (dKH), parts per million of calcium carbonate (ppm CaCo3), or milliequivalents per liter (meq/L).
 
no that would be alk and calcium I think
the regular part A and B supplument ( ouch please excuse the spelliing I just got a root canal on my tooth, well the end of one... and am not at my best)
