ok so we have a buddy that works at our lfs and he got some sps corals and he doesn"t have halides to take care of them...so my dad got a call from him and was asked if he wanted them...so he went to take a look at them and bought 10 for 150$...great deal i would say...but we bought 2 of them and we dont know what they are...we think they are lps but we are not sure.If you could please id these corals and reply that would be great.thank you very much for all of your help

The second picture is a turbinaria... probably turbinaria peltata? You won't need halides for that. Moderate lighting and flow.

The first one - not sure. Looks LPSish though. Almost looks like some type of braching euphyllia, but until it expands more I haven't a clue.
 
i thought at first that the 1st one in the pic was a torch coral...it has the branching like a frogspawn and a hammer coral but looks more like a torch...

There are branching torches too. That's what I was leaning toward, but I've never seen one sooooo retraced. Maybe like TWallace mentioned, it's just really really unhappy.
 
well those pics were not taken under halides and they are bloomed out today and i took the pics but cant figure out how to attach them onto the thread
