I have seen this in my tank before but I finally got a picture of it out on the rock.

It almost looks like a snail without a shell but all the snails that I have bought still have there shells.

 
They are quite common hitch-hikers Stomatella varia the common name is Reef Bunny due to their reproductive prowess :) They are a snail with a very small shell and make a very nice addition to a reef tank, feeding on algae (usually at night).

Yeah I have a bunch of those in my 55 gal reef. Lots of different colors. And yes they do breed quite often. They all seem to come out at the same time and spew eggs into the water. Pretty cool to watch.
