ID Please

Just noticed this the other day, looks like it can extend about 4" out of the rock. Does not look like a brittle worm, good or bad? I don't think that I can catch it what ever it is.

Thats what I thought at first, could not find any pictures of brittle worms with antenna or feelers.

no reason to catch it let the little guy eat some detritus.

looks like a small medusa, keep an eye on him. if you softies start missing chunks of flesh, he may be the culprit.

It is not a medusa it is a syllid worm. Since when do Medusa worms, which are actually legless (Apodid) sea cucumbers, eat soft corals or have parapodia ??
