Just noticed this on a new pice of liverock I added a few days ago and freaked thinking it was Aptesia. But taking a closer look it's pinkish/redish and the mouth seems to be more clearish but still pinkish.

Any idea what anemone this is? not sure if RBTA's have the bubble tips at this size, otherwise the color fits but is more clearish.
It's only about 1/2" across extended right now.

Thanx in advance.

Looks like a BIG Aptasia to me. I've seen some that big and they seem to get clearer when they get bigger. I'd get rid of it....LOL

pest anemone

Any idea whitch pest?
I'd hate to kill it and find out it's not a pest.
The system I got it from had no visible signs of any pest anemones.
That's not saying much i know.

Well a chunk of that rock is now in my 60 g with the other pests.
I'll keep an eye on the rest of the rock and hope there's no more in there hiding.
