ID this Coral

What is this? It has a skeleton, much like a mini candycane. each head is a little less than a centimeter in diameter.

They are Blasto's. I think they are the Merletti variety but can't remember for sure.

Sorry that is what I meant I had some wierd feeling it was wrong name, are those the merletti (sp) ones or what ever

we have a blasto, but it doesnt have a skeleton. is this like a mini blasto then?? Colors actually that blue. this is with the halides on. maybe a little more green, but it is really that color.

Whered you get it? Thats a blasto merleti for sure. Usually they are brown with some green. Sometimes they are Red and green, but blue ones are also pretty sought after. Nice coral!

Yeah, blastomussa merletti{sp}. Very sweet colony of them too.
