Hi Guys,

If you several of you have an idea for one or two specific products, i could come up with a special promo for Reef Frontiers members.

thanks

I'd like to try out the new 250w 10k XM bulbs :) the other item i would like to see is the Pinpoint pH Monitor w/probe.

not sure if this helps out or not but these are the 2 products i'm interested in purchasing in the near future.

Man, I wish this would have come up a week ago...I just received my Pinpoint PH monitor that I ordered from you last week.

Either way, I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to help out my fellow reefers!!! :D:D:D:D

I have not hooked it up yet, but am in the process of calibrating it right now (didn't have any 9volt batteries like I thought I did).

First of all let me say that Premium Aquatics had the best price for this unit...THANkS

I've got quite a few friends who use them and they are extremely accurate, my only concern is that the paperwork on it says you should replace the probe every 18 months for optimal reading...anybody have any comments on the length of their probes lasting?

Well, let me finish up callibrating and I'll give you my final review. :D

Matt, this baby works like a charm. Takes about 10 minutes to get it calibrated using the two different solutions (7.0 & 10.0 PH) and you're done.

Been in the tank ~5 minutes and it's reading perfectly, actually I just tested tonight with Salifert test kit which said 8.3 (matching it to colors) but the Pinpoint is reading 8.4. It might be a little high because I am dripping kalk in the sump, which is where I put the probe, but I am sure this will drop at night once the lights turn off.

I recommend getting one of these babies!!!
When you do, let me know what you think.

yeah that is probably my next purchase because right now i rarely test my pH so i have no idea where it is. i know that sounds scarey but i think as long as my coral polyps and all are well extended, my clams are out, my fish is swimming and all the pH must be ok.

hopefully we can get a club deal and i'll definitely purchase one.

Hey Jason,
Thanks for the Reef frontiers Promo. I vote for the pinpoint pH monitor and the XM 10000 250 watt MH bulbs also.
Scott :)

I'll put my vote in for the Pinpoint as well.

Also..... any chance you guys could stock a better selection of 70 watt MH bulbs? At least some 10k's?

Thanks

Hi Everyone,

Pinpoint PH monitor it is! I've created a special coupon that you can use online, you enter this code: PINPOINT10 in the coupon redemption slot at checkout and then hit redeem. You can use this code for a Pinpoint PH monitor only, so gives you net price of 69.95, it's good until feb 28th.

Eliyah, i created you a 10.00 off any product coupon, use code: Eliyah10 since you just bought one of the monitors.

On the 70watt bulbs, i'll check into the choices, i remember last year there was not many available, but i think it's getting better now.

thanks

Hey thanks Jason, what a great offer for the board. I think I will pick up another one.

Mike

Hey Jason! Thanks for the offer - it's an awesome deal! I just received the monitor a few days ago from a friend....can't wait to get it working. Sheesh, will this tank ever be done??? LOL
