ID's needed

i found this worm and this other thing under a rock!!! the worm is as wide as a pencil..it is hard to tell from the pic, but it is..i have never seen a bristleworm this large...the other thing, i hace no idea what it is..it was kind of grey looking under water..i touched it and it kind of sucked in some..it looks darker out of the water..it was round and had a point on each side if it..(much like mickey mouse's head, but with a point on each side instead of ears..they were all out of the light, so i don't know if it was a critter or some type of filter feeder..the pic was very hard to get in the water...it is not very clear...

ok..it should work now..the weird thing that i can't ID..it is next to a filter feeder of some sort, but it looks completely different

Your worm looks like a Epitoke and the mickey mouse lools like an ascidian

To me, the worm appears to be a Phyllodicidae (paddleworm), of which I have a few very good examples of within my Hitch Hikers Page. There are also some "swarmer" (epitokes) examples as well.
