Just got a look at my tanks numbers and something seems to be amiss. My temp is reading 75.5 with the heater on, ph is below 7, and the return pump current is really high. I'm going to call and have someone look in the sump to see that the water level is where it should be. If not I'll have them check the ATO. If there's a real problem is there anyone that could venture over to Sammamish and take a look under my tank for me? I'll be in Japan until the 18th and would rather not come home to a dead tank.

Thanks,
Mike

I'll be out in Redmond setting up RichV's office tank today. Shoot me a PM with your details or call me 425-299-1948

Just got in touch with my brother in law and it sounds like the ATO has stuck off. The water level in the sump return section was down about 10 inches from normal. He's going to add water to the sump to get it back to normal. I suspect that the solenoid on the inlet to the RO is stuck closed. Looks like I'm going to have to ask him to add water manually until I get back home.

Sent you a PM, Duane.

I was going to offer some help but it looks like you've got it under control.

Got home and found that the ATO solenoid had failed to open. It was getting voltage but not cycling. Disconnected it, reconnected it, and it works but looks like I need to get a new one. Oh well, nothing lost and the tank's fine.

Good news! I know how out of town tank fiascos can be. I had a similar incident on a trip to Yellow Stone two years ago.
