Interesting article.

I'm not sure that I would want frags put onto the reef. We might introduce some bizarre bacteria or other unknown pathogen. There's the possibility of doing more harm than good.

Would be easier, but is a matter of scale. Planting a few hundred 10 year old trees in a fire area would make for a larger show, but planting thousands of tiny seedlings for the same price would have a better chance of reforestation.

Unfortunately, when trying to help mother nature to fix man's damage, takes a large budget or some luck. Perhaps they hope to get lucky with planting the "seeds."

Would be nice to make the changes needed to get earth cooling back off to it's statis quo, this warming is getting out of hand. I suspect that established reefs will die off a lot faster, than they can "move" north. Alternative energy as in solar, wave, wind, geothermal needs to be developed and done so fast.

P.S. Anyone here want to help restore my ravaged reef with your bright aquacultured frags?

Regards,
