Is it pods that i am seeing?

Its to bad that i don't have a picture but everyday i see these little white things all over my glass i don't see it moving. It actually looks like dust that is inside the tank but obviously not. Just picture cleaning a piece of black furniture after a week you can obviously see the dust that is what it looks like. Are these pods or is it something else?

If not moving it could be very small particles of detritus. If you want to look for pods you can shine a flashlight onto the side of your tank when it's dark in the room (and in the tank). They will collect on the glass near the light.
