is it safe to put corals in tank that i've used copper in?

hi, I was just wondering if it's safe to put corals and seahorses in a tank that I've used copper in before. If not is there a certain time frame to wait before it is out of the substrate or do I have to start new and clean the tank out?

For the copper, i would get a salifert test kit, test your water and if it reads 0, then you should be fine. If not though, you will have to do some water changes to get them down.
