Is purple stain on PVC cleaner safe?

Does anyone know if the purple dye/stain from PVC prep/cleaner is safe? I'm tempted to coat some exposed PVC piping with it--if it is.

If you are talking the purple primer it's safe when cured.

I agree...Infact you will see many people using it to cover their plumbing to not make it as noticeable
