Is this sump design good for a long 125?

The following image shows my thoughts on the sump design. Any suggestions, input, etc... Right now we have an empty 125 acrylic tank that we are going to convert into a sump for a 300 gal aquarium. The return will be a baracuda.

Seems like that would work out fine, not sure you would want a barracuda as a return as these aren't pressure rated even though it would work You will need a big hole for the BH.

if u have more space u can have this drain into another tank that will hold more water and will use as ur return. look at reefbuilders thread called my first reef tank it is 600g display
