check the lost data first.... Was there ever farming in greenland? Check to see how much greenhouse gases man makes... A lot smaller then you might think.
I'm all for taking care of our reefs and resources, but this sort of stuff is outright propaganda meant to frighten and control people, mainly our kids in the classroom so that that they fall into line with this sort of thinking.
Climategate has finally started to bring to the public's attention the myth of anthropogenic 'global warming' and some of the media and press are grudgingly starting to take notice while doing everything they can to discredit the story.
Here is a great quote for Christopher Monckton on C02 levels and corals from an interview he did:
Throughout the past 600 million years, the mode of temperature has been 12.5 Fahrenheit degrees warmer than the present, but atmospheric CO2 concentration peaked at 7000 parts per million by volume in the Cambrian era. It was at this time that the calcite corals originated.
There was also a very high CO2 concentration compared with today’s during the Triassic era, when the delicate aragonite corals were first created by algal symbiosis. It has been suggested that corals were no longer adapted to high CO2 concentrations, and that acidification of the oceans would harm them.
However, measurements of ocean pH over time are few, and are not adequate to demonstrate any acidification of the oceans: the generally-quoted reduction of 0.1 pH units is derived chiefly from modeling. Today's CO2 concentration is almost the lowest in the geological record, endorsing Will Happer's testimony before the Senate in April 2009 that the planet is currently starved of CO2, and has been so starved for several million years.
Also, if global warming were really likely to occur at the rate so fancifully imagined by the UN, Henry's Law would force the oceans to outgas CO2 as they warmed, compensating at least in part for any imagined acidification.

why edit? It's ok to post your view. It's a scientific debate. I don't take it personal.
He would say the same thing and does so in his speeches. Don't take anyones word, investigate and question. Thats what science is about. Also, why listen to an American former VP on the issue then?

Ha! No, after I typed it up I decided I should probably watch the vid! But I dont really want to waste my time with internet vid crap.
But my main point is how the 24 hour media is making everything worse. I swear king 5 did not one but TWO stories about how you should not stick your tongue to a pole in winter. Jesus we are so lucky to have them warning us. I was totally thinking about doing it and wasnt fully convinced after the first story. But after the second I decided maybe it wouldnt be too smart.

Yeah, you should check out the videos. The guy is really informative and is well versed in the issues.
Also there are a number of scientists out ther who are skeptics. They just don't win any friends or get funding for their studies because they are fighting the system. Roy Spencer is one that comes to mind right away. Here is a link to an article talking about a number of them that are bucking the 'concensus' idea:

the best point is to check on Mr. Gore carbon footprint. Check out how he flys and what his power usage on his house is. Don't you leed by example.
