What would the most jaded, expert aquarist put in a 24 gallon nano aquarium? I'm talking about something absolutely unique.

clownfish need not apply.

How about this coral? It would probably run you around $1,000 - $1,200 to get but it would be a sight to see for sure and not something everyone else has. :D Just for size it the one in the photo is about 4" round.

Oh yeah and the grayish color actually looks purple in the right light and from the side. Almost like someone put the paint on and then gave it a spin. *lol*

Out of curiousity, is this the same "24 gallon horrible tank" that would not let anything live more than a few weeks or whatever?

If that is the case I would not be putting a prized coral in it. And I for one would hate to spend $$$ just to have the coral/creature die. You might as well flush your money down the toilet.

It sure is! I moved the two remaining fish out of there to my other tank, through out in the garbage all the sand and live rock, soaked the tank in vinegar, scrubbed the tank down real good, and set it up again with sand and live rock from one of my successful tanks!

I am not looking for any corals, either fish or inverts.

Here are some thoughts I had:
Pair of harlequin shrimps
Mantis Shrimp
Arrow crab

Any ideas? I would like to do just one species.
