Jawfish Owners

I have a blue spotted jawfish who seems to spend more time out and about than hiding in his burrow.

Please tell me about your jawfish. How deep is your sand bed? What behavior does your jawfish display?

I am afraid mine is looking to jump. Lately he has been hovering about 2 inches from the top of the tank.
